The biggest news this week is the launch of Milwaukee Record, the new site run by Matt Wild and Tyler Maas. After reading what the site will be, dig into the 50 Best Milwaukee Albums of the 2010s (so far).
The second biggest news this week is the release of The Sound of Young Milwaukee, a simply-titled compilation of music from our city’s best young bands (note: they almost all live in Riverwest) released by Top 5 Records.
You just knew Monica Martin’s voice wasn’t going to stay in Madison, WI. Phox, fresh off signing to Partisan Records, revealed their release date and announced a lengthy American tour.
