This week, WMSE welcomed Kia Rap Princess to Local/Live for an energetic and inspiring radio set. Kia, fresh from releasing “her baby” of an album, No Limits, gave that partiuclar album extra special attention on the WMSE airwaves, joined by DJ Moses for her two sets and interview.
Kia draws from influences far and wide: growing up with piano lessons, the Midwest (and its specific “swagger”), Missy Elliott and her mother, among others…
