Anyone who caught the blistering set by Decapitado at WMSE’s Radio Summer Camp this past summer, were probably picking their collective jaws up off the floor from the utter intensity of the group, three-strong. After getting those jaws in working order, probably came the exclamation, ‘wait…isn’t that they guy from Die Kreuzen?’.
Yep. Former Die Kreuzen founder and current Decapitado vocalist/bassist Dan Kubinski, along with guitarist Andy Skeels and drummer Mike Olson, recently regrouped after a brief hiatus to power out the trademark doomy-gloomy, yet melodic industrial hardcore-metal of Decapitado. Kubinski, Skeels and Olson have also been involved in Milwaukee acts as Boy Dirt Car, Realm, F*** Face and Tom Green. The trio just released a new 7″ single “Autowriter” and expect to release another, early next year.
