Saturday, November 14th: Linneman’s Riverwest Inn – The 5th Annual Kneel 2 Neil Fundraiser for WMSE and The Bridge School, 8PM:

For the fifth straight, a group of dedicated Milwaukeeans have gathered great local music talent to honor the legendary work of Neil Young. Each band or musician performs 2 – 4 Neil covers and all the proceeds of the evening to go benefit this great radio station as well as the Bridge School, an organization Young has heavily funded since 1986.

This year’s line-up features a mix of new-to-the-scene songwriters and Milwaukee veterans. Here’s the full run-down:

Beauvilles (7:30pm)
Lisa Gatewood (8:00pm)
Andy Brawner (of Time Since Western) (8:30pm)
The Aimless Blades (9:00pm)
The Carolinas (9:30pm)
Mike Fredrickson (The Mosley’s/Robbie Fulks (10:00pm)

The Celebrated Workingman (11:00pm)

For 10 bucks, you get some of Milwaukee’s finest talent performing classic as well as lesser know Young tunes, and all of your dollars go to support to great and worthy causes.
