Tuning into WMSE during 0ur fall and spring pledge drives makes for an always-interesting listen. Along with the music, DJs add plenty of banter with the WMSE staff, our awesome volunteers and of couse, the visiting musicians, both local and national, who drop by to play over the WMSE airwaves. Already, this week, the station has gotten visits from Matt Pond PA, the New Red Moons, the Maple Dale Middle School Jazz Combo, Collective Neurosis and the Mike Benign Compulsion. Matt Pond PA impressed us just as much as they were impressed by us, the Maple Dale Middle School kids were a genuine treat and Collective Neurosis wowed us with their improv prowess.
Oh, but WMSE hasn’t even gotten into the thick of it, yet. Stay tuned to hear more on what you can expect in the Pledge Drive days to come. Here’s a list for the rest of the week. Tune in! Listen and appreciate the magic of live radio.
