On Thursday, October 11, we will honor National Coming Out Day with our 3rd Annual BeOUT Milwaukee celebration at LVL Events (formerly La Cage / Montage.)
What is BeOUT Milwaukee? It’s a day to be seen, be heard, and be OUT in the community for who you are and what you believe in. It’s a day to show our pride in how far we’ve come — honor how we got here — and talk about where we’re going next!
– Take a stand against discrimination and bullying — pose for your very own NOH8 Resistance Photo between 6pm and 8pm. (PHOTO SHOOT INFO: http://bit.ly/noh8mke18) No reservations are needed; all photos are first come, first served.
– Join Milwaukee Pride, Diverse & Resilient, PFLAG, the Walker’s Point Association and our Proud Partners at 8 P.M. for a community reception, as we award our 3rd Annual BeOUT Awards for LGBTQ Visibility. This award honors individuals and/or organizations who have elevated local image, reputation and awareness of LGBTQ people within the past calendar year.
This event is free and open to the public; however, a nominal NOH8 Campaign donation is required for an official photo. Cash bar, with drink specials, will be available.
