Since the summer of 2011, Heavy Hand has been playing post-noise pop in the vein of bands like The Thermals, The Minutemen and Sebadoh. Their debut EP Confusion is Body Parts is out now (digital).
Heavy Hand’s short, punchy songs cover satirical themes of wildlife, karate movies, wizards, American Pride (but not white power), sprinkled with a little gross humor. Filthy but charming, this Milwaukee three-piece will leave you feeling like you need to go adopt some sad, mangy, one-eyed kittens.
