Who was the first artist you played as a WMSE DJ ?
I don’t have the slightest idea. I couldn’t even venture a guess.
Who was the first musician/band you remember interviewing at WMSE?
Not sure of this one either. I do consider a number of interviews to be particularly memorable. Among them are: Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Joe Sample, Sonny Simmons, Ken Vandermark, Vijay Iyer, Phil Woods and Reid Anderson. My all time favorite was Dr. Lonnie Smith.
