First song or artist you played?
First song I played? Hmmm… Saturday morning, Memorial Day weekend, 1984, 6:00 am. I believe I started with John Lee Hooker’s “Blues Before Sunrise”. Followed by “Good Morning” The Beatles. Then Delbert McClinton, for no apparent reason.
First musician or artist you interviewed?
First musician I interviewed – J.J. Cale after his appearance at the Stone Toad. It invited him to the studios after his show and surprisingly, he came over. It was late…probably After Midnight.
